Peace of Mind Gift Annuity
Some people look into a can of worms and see fish bait. Trudy Creamer and her husband saw dollar signs. And that long-term relationship with red wigglers not only supported the couple through their joint career as a fisherman's best friend, but is now carrying Trudy through her retirement years.
After her husband Herbert passed away in 1978 she continued the business and never thought about retirement. It wasn't until four years ago-at age 78 - that she pulled the last worm from the soil and took down the "Blow horn for the bait" sign in her front yard.
And that's what brought her in contact with the Georgia Baptist Foundation. As a widow she needed some advice with estate planning, and her pastor at Henderson Baptist Church invited a representative from the Foundation to visit the congregation.

Recently, Trudy established a Charitable Gift Annuity which doubled her income, provided a healthy tax deduction, and funds Georgia Baptist missions after she is at home with the Lord.
